والمشاركون فى تأليف هذا الكتاب هم نخبة من حملة الأقلام الشرفاء الذين اطلعوا على جوانب من مأساة تركستان الجريحة وتفاعلوا مع معاناة شعبها المسكين، وليس لهم دافع فى إسهامهم هذا سوى أن يضيعوا الحقيقة أمام أنظار العالم.
إن هذا الكتاب بمثابة جرس إنذار ينبهنا لنلتفت إلى مأساة تلك البلاد ونصغى إلى معاناة ذلك الشعب وذلك هو أقل ما يجب علينا أن نفعله.
إنه جرس إنذار يقول لنا: لا تنسوا تركستان ولا تنسوا أهلها!
