الانتماء حالة وطنية لاشعورية يتم تغذيتها بالتربية، ولابد أن تكون لدى كل إنسان، حتى من الممكن أن تكون لدى كل كائن حي يشعر بارتباطه الذي ولد فيه وترعرع، وفيما بين المواطنين لا يجوز تجريد احد من حالة الانتماء هذه، لأنه ليس لأحد الادعاء بها دون سواه.
من هنا جاءت فكرة هذا الكتاب الذى بين أيدينا لنوضح مفهوم الانتماء ودور الأسرة والمدرسة فى غرس هذا الاتجاه من خلال عملية التنشئة الاجتماعية للنشء وكذلك دور التربية المدنية فى غرس هذا الاتجاه وذلك لتجريك مفردات الانتماء فى نفوس شباب هذا الوطن.
