هذا المجلد من هذه الموسوعة جاء استكمالاً للأنشطة والخدمات المصرفية التي تتناولها الموسوعة؛ فقد تناول موضوعات ثلاثة هي: الحوالة والشيكات المصرفية وفيه عرض لأسس وقواعد عامة عن الحوالة ومشروعيتها وأركانها، وبيان الحكم الشرعي للعمولة أو الرسوم على الحوالات المصرفية، وتبادل القروض المتبع في المصارف الإسلامية. وكذلك الشيكات وتعريفها وأنواعها، وكيفية التعامل بها مصرفياً، وحكم اجتماع الحوالة مع الصرف.
أما موضوع الوديعة. ففيه عرض لأنواع الودائع، ومفهوم حسابات الاستثمار، وبيان حكم إيداع واستثمار الودائع في البنوك الربوية واستثمارها بالعملة الأجنبية، وحكم ضمان سرقة الوديعة، والودائع المخصصة، ودمج المحافظ العقارة والودائع بالعملات الأجنبية وحكم أرباح الودائع أو الحسابات الاستثمارية وكيفية توزيعها شرعاً، هذا وقد تم إضافة ملحق خاص بهذا الموضوع حول بعض مشكلات الإيداع في البنوك الإسلامية وعلاقاتها مع البنوك الربوية الأخرى.
وفي ثالث موضوعات هذا المجلد- وهو الموضوع الخاص بالرهن- تم تناول الرهن والأحكام العامة له، وبيان حكم الانتفاع بالسلع المرهونة، والانتفاع بالرهن دون إذن الراهن، وشراء السلع المرهونة وإعادة بيعها لمالكها الأصلي، كذلك تناول المسائل المتعلقة برهن الأسهم.
