عندما أرسل الله عز وجل رسوله محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم برسالة الإسلام الغالية، كانت الدعوة في بدايتها سراً خوفاً من بطش كفار مكة، ومحاولتهم وأد الدعوة في مهدها، واقتصرت الدعوة الشريفة في البداية على معارف الرسول وفي محيط العائلة ثم اتجهت للمستضعفين في الأرض، وعندما أتم الله نوره وخرجت الدعوة من سريتها إلى العلن وبدأت بالانتشار برغم أنف الطغاة، كان لابد لكل مسلم أن يأخذ دوره ويضع على عاتقه مهمة يؤديها على أكمل وجه لرفعة هذا الدين. ولأن المجتمع ـأي مجتمع ـ يتكون من طرفين لا غنى لأحدهما عن الآخر هما الرجل والمرأة لذا كان لزاما على المرأة المسلمة أن تعمل ضمن هذا المجتمع الوليد وبأقصى جهدها فهذا الدين الجديد يحتاج إلى جيل جديد ينشأ منذ ولادته نشأة إيمانية سليمة .. جيل ذو عقيدة قوية لا تتزعزع .. جيل نقي من الكفر مليء بالإيمان الخالص بالله عز وجل كي يقوم بدورة في المستقبل القريب وبهذا كانت أهمية المرأة المسلمة ذات شأن قوي ربما تفوق على مهام الرجل المسلم الذي خرج للجهاد والقتال في سبيل الله تاركا المهمة المقدسة لزوجته. وهكذا ترتبت بنات صغيرات حول رسولنا الكريم تربوا على العقيدة السليمة فكانوا منارات استضاء العالم بهم عبر أزمنة التاريخ.
