تعدّدتِ المنظوماتُ التعليمية في تراثنا الإسلامي منذ العصر العباسي، ونهدَ العلماءُ من كلِّ علمٍ وفنٍّ لجمع مسائل وقضايا علومهم في أراجيزَ يسهُلُ على الطلبة حفظُها وفهمُها واسترجاعُها وقتما يشاؤون. ولعلّ من أشهر المنظومات في فقه السّادة الشافعية، هي منظومة «صفوة الزبد» لابن رسلان الرّملي، التي تناقلتها الأجيالُ من القرن التاسع حتى هذا العصر، وعُنُوا بها عنايةً بالغةً حفظاً وتدريساً وشرحاً، وهي منظومةٌ تمتدُّ من مقدِّمةٍ في أصول الدِّين مروراً بأبواب الفقه وفصوله وانتهاءً بإضاءاتٍ دقيقة في علم التصوُّف. وقد نظم ابن رسلان في هذه المنظومة متنَ كتاب «الزُّبد» لهبة الله بن البارزي (738هـ)، وهو متنٌ فريدٌ نادر الوجود، وأفاد النّاظمُ مقدِّمة المنظومة وخاتمتها من كتاب «جمع الجوامع» للتاج السُّبكي (ت771هـ). ولقد توافر لدى المحقِّق خمسة أصول خطِّية متقنة، فاعتمدَ عليها، واستدرك أبياتاً لم تنشر سابقاً، فكان عمله أنموذجاً للتحقيق العلمي الرَّصين، القائم على مسوِّغاتٍ علميّة لإعادة نشر التُّراث
