"قال السيد عبد اللطيف فضل الله: هتف البيان بمولد الزهراء، سر الوجود وشمس كل سماء، فرأى الجلال على تواضع قدسه تنحط عنه مدارك العقلاء، شمخ الأديم بفاطم وتطاولت غبراؤه فيها على الخضراء، برأ العوالم واصطفاها ربها، مما اصطفاه بها مع الأمناء، فتجسمت في الأرض منه رحمة وشفاعة للناس يوم جزاء".
لم تكن الزهراء سلام الله عليها امرأة عادية بل كانت فوق ذلك فهي إلى جانب إنسانيتها الرفيعة تحمل خصائص الملائكة وصفات الحور المترفعة عن الدنيا وشؤونها واهتماماتها، والأدباء عموماً والشعراء منهم على وجه الخصوص، كانوا وما زالوا يترنمون باسم فاطمة مدحاً ورثاءً. لكن الشعراء وإن تمكنوا من تصوير حقائق الكون والنفوذ إلى بطون الأشياء إلا أنهم عاجزون عن إدراك عظمة السيدة البتول، وهم مهما أوغلوا في التأمل وعمقوا النظر تبقى نظراتهم جوالة في عالمها الغيبي العجيب. وليس أمامهم إلا أن يفجروا مواهبهم الخلاقة لتصوير نورها الساطع وذكر سماته وخصوصياته مدحاً وثناءً وشوقاً.
وفي هذا الديوان جمع المؤلف بعضاً من أروع ما نظم من شعر يعبر عن مشاعر الحب والولاء للسيدة فاطمة الزهراء عليها السلام، وهم على اختلاف أذواقهم ومشاربهم يتغنون بمزايا الزهراء عليها السلام وآيات الكمال والجمال فيها.
وقد مهد المؤلف للديوان بدراسة عن المقدمة في حياة الزهراء فيها خصائص فاطمة عليها السلام وتحدث عن الشعراء الذين نظموا الشعر في آل البيت ودوافعهم إلى ذلك، كما ذكر نتفاً من شعر الزهراء عليها السلام وكلمات في عظمتها لعلماء وأعلام ومؤلفين مشاهير.
