لم يعد الأرشيف مجرد حافظة للمدوّنات، إنما بات أقرب إلى العمود الفقري لكل "أعضاء الجسم المعرفي".
يتطلب الوعي الأرشيفي، أو ما بات يُسمى كذلك، حفراً في دالّة الكلام ونشأة الكتابة، والحفِّر هنا يتطلب دقة إستثنائية، نظراً لحساسية اللغة التي تخضع لمنطق المساءلة، وإنما يجري العكس، بداية فيكون المعنى هو نفسه في موقع المساءلة: ما إذا كان يمتلك ذلك الرصيد اللغوي الذي يؤهله لأن يقيم حواراً مع اللغة، ومن داخلها، وما إذا كان قادراً على الدفع باللغة، على وقْع معرفته بها، لأن تجهر بخفاياها بإضطراد، ما إذا الكلام الذي ننسبه إلى أنفسنا مؤاتياً، لأن يعترف بما هو معتَّم عليه جهة الكتابة، تلك التي تمنحه إعتباراً، وتؤرخ له.
إن ما راهن عليه دريدا في هذا الكتاب: (جهة الكتابة) هو ما يصلها بالأرشيف، وفاعلية الأثر المتداخل معه، وما هو مقروء ومن ثم منشور، مما يثري الكتاب، إستناداً إلى مقالات ودراسات مأخوذة بفضيلة أرشيفية دريدية بجلاء.
ولعل كل ذلك، يحفّزنا على الإصفاء إلى أصوات الكتابة الواحدة، وكتابات الصوت الواحد، حيث التعددية بوابة كل منجّز معرفي!...
