نزلت آيات القرآن الكريم حسب المناسبات والظروف وإذا دعت الحاجة إلى التعريف بأمر من الأمور المتعلقة بنبي من الأنبياء أو رسول من الرسل أو المتصله بالعقيدة أو الشريعة او الأخلاق الحميدة أن تنزل الآية او الآيات التى تدعو إليها وتوضيحها ثم إذا تجددت الحاجة إلى التعريف بأحدهما بعد فترة من الزمان نزلت آية أخرى أو آيات كسابقتها في الموضوع نفسه تزيده وضوحا او تتمه أو تنسخة ومن الأسباب التى دعت إلى تكرار قصص الأنبياء في القرآن الكريم هو كشف الحكمة من وراء هذه القصص فنجد القرآن يقص علينا أنباء الغيب التى جرت بين رسل الله وأممهم وما حصل بينهم من طاعة أو عصيان وكيف كانت عاقبة المكذبين .. ويضوح هذا الكتاب المناسبات التى تزلت فيها هذه القصص والمناسبات التى دعت لتكرارها والسبب والعظة وراء التكرار مع دراءة لكل قصه على حدة.
