وتظهر أهمية هذا الشرح من خلال كونه شرحاً عُني بنصوص المذاهب ونسبتها إلى أصحابها بذكر مصادرها، يسير بالمنهج ذاته من بدايته إلى نهاية، وسط في العبارة، بعيد عن التعقيد والغريب، اهتيل به الطلبة ودرسوه وتناقلوه بخط اليد.
وأهمية هذا الكتاب اعتنى به الدكتور عبد الكريم قبول وحققه وضبط نصوصه وعمل على إخراجه بالشكل الذي يليق به.
