ومن هنا فقد تم تحديد عدد من القضايا الاقتصادية الشائعة, وطرح تساؤلات الناس حولها من خلال أسئلة يقدمها المواطن حسنين, وردود المؤلف عليها في أسلوب بسيط قدر المستطاع متقمصًا شخصية المواطن محمدين. ومن القضايا المطروحة للنقاش بين حسنين ومحمدين: المعونات الأجنبية وبيان أغراضها الحقيقية لزيادة مبيعات الدول المانحة في أسواق الدول المتلقية للمعونة, قضية الإيرادات السياحية, قضية إيرادات تصدير البترول, واردات مصر, استعراض قضية الصادرات المصرية.
