ووضح كيفية التعامل مع النحل من حيث تحديد موقع الخلايا، وأهداف الكشف على الخلية وكيفيته، وتغذية النحل والحاجات الغذائية له، كما استعرض التغيرات العددية لأفراد خلية النحل في المناطق الجافة وشبه الجافة.
إضافة إلى ما سبق فقد شرح العمليات الإدارية التي يجب على النّحال ان يجريها قبل الدخول في موسم العسل وخلاله وبعده، كما قدم بشرح أهم الإجراءات الإدارية الواجب مراعاتها عند ترحيل الخلايا، والسرقة، وضم الخلايا، والتخلص من الأمهات الكاذبة، والإجراءات التي يجب إتباعها عند جفاف المرعى والإرتفاع الكبير في درجات الحرارة، وتناول إدارة الملكات والذكور تحت الظروف الجافة حيث استعرض أنجع الطرق لتربية الملكات ونقلها وإدخالها إلى الخلايا، وأخيراً ناقش اهمية الإدارة السليمة للأقراص الشمعية في نجاح تربية النحل وإنتاج العسل.
