كان من توفيق الله تعالى إياي أن أخذت كتابًا في هذا وهو كتاب الوافي في شرح المنتخب، مهبط الوحي ومنبع السعادات الأبدية، فتلقيت التعليم الجامعي فيها، فزادني الله تعالى من فضله أن مكنني من الحصول على درجة (الماجستير) منها من شعبة (الأصول) قسم الدراسات العليا الشرعية فرع (الفقه وأصوله)، وكان موضوع رسالتي "دلالة الاقتضاء وعموم المقتضي دراسة وتطبيق" ثم شرفني الله تعالى بأفضاله، وزادني من إنعامه، فمكنني من مواصلة التعليم في مرحلة (الدكتوراه)، فرأيت من المناسب علمًا، ومن التطبيق عملًا، أن يكون موضوع رسالتي تحقيق أحد كتب التراث الإسلامي في هذا الفن، حتى أكون قد جمعت بين البحث والتحقيق، والدراسة والتطبيق.
ورأيت أن تكون الخطة في سير هذا البحث كما هو متبع في قسمين: القسم الأول قسم الدراسة وفيه بابين الأول في التعريف بصاحب المتن والشارح، والثاني: دراسة عامة عن أصل الكتاب وشرحه، أما القسم الثاني فهو قسم التحقيق.
