الكتاب الذى بين يدينا يقدم دراسة وافية تمخنا فرصة التعرف على أفكار ومعتقدات إحدى الفرق اليهودية وهى "اليهودية الأرثوذكسية" وقد وضع المؤلف (سائد خليل عايش) هذه الدراسة إقتداءاً بالصحابى الجليل وقوله "كنت أسأله - الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم - عن الشر مخافة أن أقع فيه" ... وتحسباً وتجنباً للوقوع في شر اليهود يقوم المؤلف بتعريفنان بمصادر اليهود الفكرية وتياراتهم الدينية، وذلك كتمهيد قبل تعرضه لنشأة هذه طائفة الأرثوذكية ومذهبها وبعض التشريعات التى تميزت بها، يتناول أيضا علاقتها بالصهيونية ... فضلاً عن دراسة الحركات والأحزاب اليهودية الأرثوذكية في فلسطين، وهو بهذا يقدم رؤية تفصيلية لأهم طائفة دينية لليهود لها تأثيرها الدينى والسياسى.. إلى جانب بعض الحركات الأخرى لتكتمل الدراسة والرؤية التى يقدمها.
