عن لي أن أكتب في باب من أبواب النحو شغلني في الماضي ويشغلني في الحاضر، وأظن أنه يشغل غيري، وسيكون حديثي عن هذا الباب في نطاق ما يجوز أن يكتب دون مساس بالأحكام الواردة في شأنه، ودون تعرض للهيكل العام بتغيير أو تبديل.
لقد استرعت صيغ جموع التكسير بنوعيها (السماعي، والقياسي) انتباهي لتعددها، ولأوزانها الكثيرة التي تجاوز الثلاثين، ومنها (الصيغ غير المطردة) وبتصدي علم النحو لبيانها وعرض أحكامها، ومنها (الصيغ غير المطردة) والسبيل إلى معرفتها مقصور على المراجع اللغوية الأخرى.
ولم أجد بدًا وأنا أحصي جموع التكسير في اللغة العربية أن أتحدث عن جمع الاسم عامة سواء أكان هذا الجمع للتصحيح، أم للتكسير، واعتمدت في ذلك على ما ذكره النحاة القدامى والمحدثون في كتبهم بهذا الخصوص، لاعتقادي بأني لن آتي بجديد، فالقواعد- كما نعلم- جافة، وأثر المجتهد فيها لا يعدو أن يخفف من ثقلها بطلاوة ما يأتي به من أمثلة مشوقة تتضمن أحكامها، وقصدت بذكر هذه القواعد عدم حرمان المتخصص من منهل يعيد إلى ذاكرته أغلب القواعد التي تختص بجموع التصحيح والتكسير في اللغة.
