فالدافع لتناول المنظومة القيمية إنها مشكلة من أهمّ المشكلات التي تسيطر على العقل الإنساني والبحث فيها لم يتوقف على عصر ما، أو مجتمع أو فلسفة معينة، وربّما في التعبير عن هذه المشكلة ما قد تصلح به حالنا في حياتنا المعاصرة، من إرتباط بمجالات عديدة إلهية وإنسانية، يمكننا الإنتفاع بها الآن، وليس مبالغة أن تقول: إنّ حياتنا المعاصرة بما فيها من مشكلات وأزمات قيمية، وما قد يشعر الإنسان به من صراعات نفسية وصراعات خارجية يمكن أن يكون الحلّ فيها هو الآخذ بهذه الأفكار عن المنظومة القيمية، مما يستدعي إيجاد الحلول لجملة من التساؤلات تتحدّد بالآتي: 1-ما هي المنظومات القيمية للإنسان من وجهة النظر الفلسفية والمعرفية؟، 2-هل هناك جدلية واضحة المعالم ما بين ثنائيات القيم؟، 3-ما هي جدلية المنظومة القيمية في جانب من أهم جوانب الفنون الإسلامية وهي (التصوير والزخرفة الإسلامية)؟...
