مبروك عطية (1958 - ): هو داعية، وأكاديمي مصري، ولد في المنوفية عام 1958. والتحق مبكرًا بالأزهر، وحصل على الدكتوراه مع مرتبة الشرف من جامعة القاهرة عام 1989. يعمل حاليًا رئيسًا لقسم الدراسات الإسلامية بجامعة الأزهر، وكان قبل ذلك دكتور في جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود - جامعة الملك خالد - في مدينة أبها بالمملكة العربية السعودية.

هذا كتاب موضوعه (رحمة الله بين الرجاء واليأس) ، رأيت أن الكتابة فيه من الضرورة بمكان، حيث أنه ما من إنسان إلا وهو فقير إلى الرحمة لاسيما رحمة الله - عز وجل - التي هي مصدر كل رحمة ومنبع كل خير وقد ورد في البحر المحيط لأبي حيان أن دعاء أهل الكهف يغني عن جميع الدعاء، وهو ((ربنا آتنا من لدنك رحمة وهيئ لنا من أمرنا رشدا)) ، وذلك لأن الرحمة تشمل رحمة الدنيا والآخرة وأن كل نعمة تأتي من الله - عز وجل - إنما هي رحمة منه بعباده، وقد وسعت رحمة ربنا - تعالى - كل شئ، ونحن بلا شك في زمان غلب فيه اليأس، للمفارقة الشاسعة بين مستويات الناس.
وقد رأيت صوراً من اليأس من رحمة الله - تعالى - فيها استبطاء بعض الناس تلك الرحمة، وقد حكم رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) في هذه المسألة حكماً مفصلاً فبين أن الله - عز وجل - يستجيب لعبده ما لم يعجل، أي مل لم يقل: دعوت فلم يستجيب لي وكثير منا يقول هذه العبارة، وقد رأيت أمة ممن أسميهم هواة الدعاة يبعدون الناس عن رحمة الله - عز وجل - حيث يصورون لهم الدين نافلة، إن لم يقوموا بها فليسوا ممن تنالهم رحمة الله - عز وجل.
