ولئن استطاع الأرمن، اليوم المحافظة على دولة ما لهم في أرمينا الحالية، فإن هذه الدولة لا تمثل سوى عشر مساحة أرمينيا التاريخية. وهم يحاولون، عبر التمسك بلغتهم وحضارتهم أينا حلوا، أن يتمسكوا بهويتهم قدر المستطاع.
فمن هم الأرمن، وما تاريخهم القديم والحديث، وما وضعهم في الزمن المعاصر؟
هذا ما يحاول هذا الكتيب الكشف عنه وذلك من خلال فقرات اختصر متنها مفاهيم عامة من الأرمن وتاريخهم وانتشارهم وكنيستهم وأهم رجالاتهم ونسائهم.
