تعد إدارة الأزمات التعليمية واحدة من أهم وأخطر الإشكاليات التي تواجه العملية التعليمية على وجه العموم، فالعملية التعليمية شأن أي عمل يواجه أزمات أو يصطدم بعقبات إدارية أو سياسية حتى ولو حاول أن يعمل في ظل الأطر القانونية القائمة، ومن الضروري عدم الإكتفاء بالإنتظار أولاً حتى تحدث مثل هذه الأزمات المحتملة، وأيضاً- في حالة حدوث أزمات- أن تكون لدينا خطط واستعدادات مسبقة للتعامل معها والاستفادة من سلبياتها وإيجابياتها. وإذا كان بعض علماء الإدارة يعرفون الأزمة بأنها ذلك الحدث السلبي الذي لا يمكن تجنبه أياً كانت درجة استعداد المنظمة، فإن القائمين على العمل الخيري في حاجة إلى ما يمكن تسميته بفقه إدارة الأزمات، فإدارة الأزمة ليست سهلة ميسورة، ولكنها تعد أحد أهم وأخطر عناصر العملية التعليمية فإذا لم يحسن التعامل معها قد تجر على العمل ويلات كثيرة، فلابد من تحليل أي مشكلة، ودراسة البدائل في ظل الإمكانات المتاحة، والظروف القائمة، وحسابات الأضرار والمنافع واعتبارات المقاصد الشرعية، وتلمس الحلول المناسبة، دون تفريط في "الثوابت" الخاصة بالعمل أو الخروج عن أطره.
