بحوث هذا الكتاب تبلور رؤية بلاغية في استقراء النص، ووصف مكوناته اللغوية التي تجعل منه بوتقة معرفية ترتقي إلى حد الإعجاز في التعبير القرآني خاصة، والأنواع الأدبية عامة. وهذه الرؤية كما أريد لها أن تفهم، تتبع خواص تراكيب الكلام (تراكيب البلغاء المخصوصة) المتشكلة بالتعبير عن المعنى بطرق مختلفة والموصوفة (بمطابقة الكلام لمقتضى الحال).
ولذلك عمدت في تكوين بنيتها المعرفية إلى جمع مختلف وجهات النظر التي انشغل بها قراء النص البلاغيون، ووازنت بين تلك القراءات حيث التقت أو اختلفت في الوصف والتحليل لتصل إلى الوصف الأبلغ لماهية النص وتأويله (لأن أجود الشعر أبلغه) كمنظور استراتيجي تحكم في تلك القراءات. وأن النص وسيط (فهم وإفهام) يجري له القائل والسامع لكشف قناع المعنى البلاغي كما يقول الجاحظ في بيانه.
