Book Description
أنطونيو غرامشي فيلسوف ومناضل إيطالي، ولد في بلدة آليس بجزيرة ساردينيا الإيطالية عام 1891، وهو الأخ الرابع لسبعة أخوات. تلقى دروسه في كلية الآداب بتورينو حيث عمل ناقداً مسرحياً عام 1916 انضم إلى الحزب الشيوعي الإيطالي منذ تأسيسه وأصبح عضواً في أمانة الفرع الإيطالي من الأممية الإشتراكية.
أصدر مع توليتي في عام 1917 مجلة النظام الجديد بالإيطالية Ordine Nuovo وفي شهر يوليو 1919 اعتقل لأول مرة بسبب تأييده للجمهوريتين الهنغارية والروسية لكنه بدأ في خريف العام ذاته تنشيط حركة "مجالس العمّال" في تورينو. وفي عام 1921 أسس مع مجموعة أخرى الحزب الشيوعي الإيطالي وانتُخب نائباً عام 1924 وترأس اللجنة التنفيذية للحزب. وفي الثامن من نوفمبر أودع السجن بناءً على أمر من موسوليني حيث أمضى العشر سنوات الأخيرة من عمره؛ قبل أن يموت تحت التعذيب في 26 إبريل 1937 . من السجن أعلن قطيعته مع ستالين، وفيه يكتب (دفاتر السجن) التي يصدر الجزء الأول منها في هذا الكتاب تحت عنوان (رسائل السجن – رسائل أنطونيو غرامشي إلى أمه). وهو يحتوي على الرسائل التي أرسلها غرامشي الأول.
ويرجع سبب هذا الاختيار إلى أن غرامشي كتب خلال العشر سنوات التي قضاها في السجن مئات الرسائل ولا يمكن جمعها في مجلد واحد. ولتسهيل قراءتها قسمناها إلى سلسلة من الكتب الموضوعاتية. تستعرض انشغالات غرامشي الثقافية والفكرية والأخلاقية، والإنسانية العميقة، وعلاقته بأسرته وأصدقائه. وهي في نهاية المطاف رسائل توثيقة لمرحلة زمنية حاول خلالها المفكر والمناضل أنطونيو غرامشي العيش بحرية وعدالة، لكنه عوض ذلك عاش في فكر وقلوب محبيه الذين يمجدون أفكاره ويدرسون أطروحاته ويواصلون على خطواته.
