Book Description
"مغني اللبيب على كتب الأعاريب" الذي تناوله الدسوقي في هذا المؤلف هو كتاب ألفه ابن هشام في النحو، ولم يلجأ فيه كعادة النحاة إلى تقسيم موضوعات النحو أبواباً: المرفوعات، المنصوبات... ولكنه جمع الأدوات النحوية (الحروف ونحوها) في باب خاض بها جمع فيه ما يتصل بها من قواعد وأحكام، وما يمثل لها من شواهد، مبوباً إياها بحسب حروف المعجم، لكنه لم يراع إلا الحرف الأول من الترتيب. وبعد باب الأدوات أفرد أبواباً أخرى جاءت مرتبة على النحو التالي: في تفسير الجمل وذكر أقسامها، في ذكر ما يتردد بين المفردات والجمل، وهو الظرف والجار والمجرور، وذكر أحكامهما، في ذكر أحكام يكثر دورها ولا بد من معرفة إعرابها، في ذكر الأوجه التي يدخل على المعرب الخلل من جهتها، في التحذير من أمور اشتهرت بين المعربين، والصواب خلافها، في كيفية الإعراب، في ذكر أمور كليّة يتخرج عليها ما لا ينحصر من الصور الجزئية.
ونظراً إلى أهمية الكتاب أقبل اللغويون عليه يشرحونه أو يضعون الحواشي عليه، والدسوقي هو أحد من وضعوا الحواشي على المغني. وقد جاء الكتاب محققاً وبحلة منهجية معاصرة وكان لعمل المحقق فيه على الشكل التالي: مقدمة مسهبة في حياة ابن هشام ومؤلفاته ومنهجه النحوي، ضبط متن الكتاب سواءً بالحركات أم بعلامات الترقيم المناسبة، تخريج الآيات القرآنية، والشواهد الشعرية والأمثال العربية، مع اعتناء خاص بالشواهد الشعرية من حيث تعيين بحورها وشعرائها ومصادرها ومعانيها وإعرابها ومواطن الاستشهاد فيها، بعض التعليقات والاستدراكات والتصويبات مع الحرص على عدم إثقال المتن بكثير الحواشي المخصصة للشروح والاستدراكات التي يسهل الوقوع عليها في الكتب النحوية المفصلة، تقسيم الكتاب إلى فصول وفقرات وذلك بهدف تبسيط العرض، وسهولة التناول، فهارس مختلفة أثبتت في نهاية الكتاب.
