ويشتمل الكتاب علي أبواب عن التغذية الصحيحة والتسنين والتطعيم وكذلك معظم المشاكل الصحية التي قد تصيب الطفل وكيفية التعامل معها. والجزء الثاني: يشتمل علي سلوكيات الأطفال وانحراف السلوك والمشاكل السلوكية، وكذلك بعض الأمراض النفسية في الأطفال وأعراضها حتي يمكن التشخيص المبكر والعلاج المبكر أيضاً، والجزء الأخير من الكتاب يشتمل علي موضوعات متفرقة تتناول ما هو حديث في طب الأطفال وما يفعله الأهل تجاه بعض الأمراض التي تتزايد نسبة حدوثها بشكل كبير مثل مرض السكر في الأطفال. وماذا يفعل الأهل؟ وكيف يتعاملون أو يتعايشون مع هذا المرض الذي لو تم ضبط السكر في الدم فسوف يمارسون حياة طبيعية دون حدوث أي مضاعفات.
