لا شك أن محاولات تحقيق التوازن بين الإتجاهين (الإتجاة العلمي، والإبداع القصصي)، وعدم إفلات خيوط أحدهما هي التي تخلق في حياة الأكاديمي أو المبدع اللحظات الهامة في مسيرته، وما دمنا في مجال الحديث عن الإبداع القصصي وتجلياته، فإن حسن البنداري إستطاع أن يحافظ على خيوطه متماسكة قوية متجددة بين يديه بين عام صدور الجرح سنة1971، وعام صدور يوم2008، وهى فترة طويلة تكفي من حيث الكم وحدة لتثبيت إسم صاحبها في قوائم المبدعين لفن القصة القصيرة في العالم العربي في النصف الثاني من القرن العشرين، لكن جودة الإنتاج لا تتوقف عند حد المثابرة والكم، فقد لفتت القيمة المتميزة لإبداع حسن البنداري منذ فترة مبكرة انظار نقاد أصبحوا فيما بعد من كبار النقاد الأكاديمين في مجال القصة القصيرة.
