هذا كتاب "ميزان الحكمة" للعالم العربي المسلم عبد الرحمن أبو الفتح مولى علي بن محمد الخازني المتوفي سنة 550هـ وهذا الكتاب درة من درر البحث العلمي في العالم أجمع ونصه من النصوص الهامة ولذا فقد عنى به كثير من علماء الدول الأوربية والأجنبية وإحتفوا به أيما إحتفاء فتعددت طباعته هناك! فقد طبع بعناية المستشرق الروسي "خانيكوف" المركز الثقافي الروسي (1275هـ/1875م) من أكثر من مائة وخمسين عاما. ثم ترجم الكتاب إلى اللغة الإنجليزية ونشر نشرة هامة بالغة الإستفادة.
وقد غار أهل القاهرة فيما يبدو فقام فؤاد جميعان بتحقيقه وطبعه في شركة فن الطباعة سنة 1947م. ثم لم يعرف أبناء هذا الجيل عن هذه الدرر الكثيرة شيئا فقدمنا هذه الدرة بدراسة للأستاذ الدكتور/منتصر مجاهد. وهى دراسة علمية فلسفة العلوم أرجو أن تكون وافيه لتقديم مالم يقدمه لهذا الكتاب.
