لما كثر الدخيل، وتقهقر الزمان وإختلطت أهل البدع بأهل السنة والقرآن غاظهم ما رآو من إقامة كلمتهم وإرتفاع ذروتهم فزينوا لهم الإشتغال بالمنطق وغيره من العلوم الفلسفية وقصد بذاته أنواع الغدر لهم ولو لم يكن منه إلا الإعراض عن الأمور الشرعية، وأوحوا إليهم أن بهذا العلم تدرك المعلومات وتنتهي إليه أعظم المقاصد والمهمات ولعمري لقد حصل لهم ما راموه وتم لهم ما أبرموه فأقبل عليه شباب المشتغلين تترا تترا، وصرف كل منهم في تحصيله دهرا ولم نر أحدا ممن أشتغل به نبغ في علم شرعي، ولا حصل على مقود أصلي أو فرعي.
فرأيت من النصح للدين الإعلامي بأن الإشتغال به حرام وإنه صرح بتحريمه أئمة الإسلام فلم يبجه أحد إلا الإمام الغزالي في قوله له قد رجع عنه كما نقله بعض الأئمة والإعلام، فألفت هذا الكتاب جامعا لما ورد عن السلف في ذلك سائلا الله التوفيق إلى أصوب المسالك وسميته: بالقول المشرق في تحريم الإشتغال بالمنطق.
