هي مجلة علمية محكمة نصف سنوية تصدر عن الجمعية الوطنية للثقافة والتطوير علم وخبر 1193/ أ.د. يرأس تحريرها د. هيفاء سليمان الإمام.
كانت مجلّتنا تعرف ما تريد، حين اختارت لنفسها اسم "وميض الفكر"، أرادت أن تبعد عن عالمها العفويّة والإرتجال، فالوميض إشارة إلى التخلّق، إرهاصات ما قبل التشكّل والولادة، إستقت هذه المجلّة اسمها من الهمّ الثقافي الذي يشغل بال مؤسّسيها، ويحدّد مجمل سلوكهم وتوجّهاتهم، يعني أنّها ستكون مجافية للعاديّ والشائع، منافية لما يكون بلا طعم ولا لون ولا رائحة، الثقافة عندما عمق وطنيّ قوميّ إنسانيّ، إنّها إنتظارات للولادات الجديدة داخل ذلك الحقل.
ندوة نصف سنويّة تكون أبحاثها مادّة لأحد محاور المجلّة، وموضوع الندوة نتاج للمرحلة الزمنية التي تتحيّز فيها، يطرح همومها ويجيب عن أسئلتها الملّحة، متابعة ما تصدره دور النشر من جديد، إلى أيّ حقل معرفيّ انتمى هذا الجديد، يوضع بين يدي مختصّ خبير يرى فيه رأيه، ويبرز ما جاء به من جديد؛ لكي يصبح علامة على الطريق تهدي الباحثين إلى ما يجب أن يتجاوزوه، إقامة لقاءات أدبيّة، شعراً ونثراً، لجيل الشباب الذين عُرِفوا بأنّهم ممّن يسيرون على إقامة لقاءات أدبيّة، شعراً ونثراً، لجيل الشباب الذين عُرِفوا بأنّهم ممّن يسيرون على الدرب الصعب، ونشر ما سمق من إبداعاتهم، إقامة محاور ذات عناوين معبّرة عن هموم هذا الحقل المعرفي أو ذاك، تُنشر فيها الأبحاث المقدّمة، والتي نالت موافقة لجنة التحكيم.
