ودارت معارك دعائية كثيرة حول الثورة وضدها أيضاً عبر برامج التوك شو المختلفة بما يكشف دورها الفعّال في مجال المشاركة السياسية للمواطنين خلال الثورة وبعد التنحى، ومن ثم يطرح السؤال حول ماهية هذه المشاركة غير التقليدية التى حشدت وعبأت من أجل الثورة وما مستقبلها فى ظل اختفاء (أو كادت) القيود على المشاركة التقليدية، وهل ستستمر المشاركة غير التقليدية لتواكب تطلع المصريين للمشاركة التقليدية بحرية ونزاهة، أم أنها قد تختفى أو تخسر وزنا وتأثيرا؟
وفى هذا الإطار نقسم الدراسة إلى قسمين:
القسم الأول: السمات والخصائص المشتركة والمختلفة لهذا الجيل مقارنة بالجيل القديم فى ذات التيار، يتضمن السمات والخصائص المشتركة والمختلفة لهذا الجيل مقارنة بذات الجيل في التيارات الأخرى، وكيفية حراكهم داخل ذات التيار وتنظيماته الشبابية التقليدى منها والجديد، ويتناول حراكهم فى أواسط جيل الشباب فى المجتمع ككل ودرجة تفاعلهم واستخدامهم وتأثيرهم فيما يخص وسائل المشاركة غير التقليدية، ثم يتناول دورهم فى الثورة المصرية ووضعيتهم على مستوى التيار والمستوى المجتمعى بعد الثورة، بالإضافة إلى رؤية مستقبلية لتطور دور الشباب فى هذا التيار.
ويتضمن الفصول التالية: خصائص جيل الشباب في التيار الإسلامى، وفى تيار اليسارى والليبرالى إضافة إلى وسائل المشاركة عند الشباب القبطى.
أما القسم الثانى: فيتناول أزمة المشاركة التقليدية والوسائل التى أبتكرها أو استخدمها الشباب فى المشاركة من حيث كيفية الاستعانة بهذه الأداة ما قبل الثورة، وأثناء التحضير والتجهيز للثورة، والكيفية التى ظهرت بها خلال الثورة للدعاية والحشد والتعبئة (أو الدعاية المضادة إن وجدت)، ثم ننتقل إلى كيفية توظيفها في مصر ما بعد الثورة، ومستقبل المشاركة غير التقليدية بعد فتح الأفق للمشاركة التقليدية عبر الإنتخابات النزيهة وحرية تكوين الأحزاب وحرية التحرك السياسي فى الشارع.
