تنهض الفكرة الأساسية لهذا الديوان على ألسنة الأنسجة وتتبع تطورها حتى تصير ملابس ترتديها ونرتدي معها سيرتها الذاتية ورغباتها الدفينة وأحزانها المتوارثة بل واشتهاءاتها أيضاً، وكان الشاعر يبحث في خيوط الملابس عن ذواكر تصلح لحكاياتنا أو قلوب تحتوي أرقنا الطويل، لنكتشف في الأخير أن الشاعر ربما يحدثنا عن البشر الملابس أكثر مما يحدثنا عن الملابس البشر، هو نوع من الكتابة الشعرية عن الأشياء التي حولنا والتي قد لا ينتبه الكثيرون إلى أرواحها المحومة حولنا.
