دأبت جماعة الإخوان المسلمين منذ تأسـيسها على يد حسن البنا في عام 1928 على تقديم صورة لنفسها بوصفها الوجه المعتدل لتيار الإسلام السـياسـي، وأنها تنبذ كل صور العنف والتطرف والإرهاب، في حين أن المراقب الدقيق لتاريخ هذه الجماعة منذ نشأتها، والمطلع على أدبياتها الفكرية وأيديولوجيتها السـياسـية والدينية، يستطيع أن يكتشف بسهولة زيف هذه الأكاذيب وعدم واقعيتها، وأن هذه الجماعة هي منبع الإرهاب والتطرف في المنطقة والعالم.
فقد شكل النتاج الفكري لهذه الجماعة، الأساس الفكري الذي انطلقت منه كل جماعات التطرف والإرهاب المتستر بالدين التي ظهرت فيما بعد، بل إن هذه الجماعات نفسها، وعلى رأسها تنظيم "القاعدة" وجماعة "الجهاد الإسلامي" وجماعات التكفير والهجرة وأخيراً "داعش"، كلها خرجت من تحت عباءة الإخوان المسلمين، وتشبعت بالفكر نفسه الذي يتبناه الإخوان، وليس أدل على ذلك من أن قادة هذه التنظيمات المتطرفة الذين أسسوها أو تولوا قيادتها كانوا أعضاءً في تنظيم الإخوان المسلمين.
ويستعرض هذا الكتيب بعض الحقائق والأدلة من واقع أدبيات الإخوان المسلمين أنفسهم، وأفكار قادتهم ورموزهم التي تؤكد علاقتهم بالفكر المتطرف وبأعمال العنف والإرهاب التي امتدت تأثيراتها إلى خارج حدود المنطقة العربية لتشمل العالم أجمع، وتوضح حقيقة ما يحاول الإخوان المسلمون إخفاءه حول مسؤوليتهم عن انتشار التطرف والإرهاب تحت شعارات الاعتدال والمظلومية.
