أ.د. صلاح الدين عبد الحليم سلطان (20 أغسطس 1959 المنوفية - ) عالم إسلامي وداعية مصري، كان له برنامج أسبوعي علي قناة الناس الفضائية، شارك في اعتصام رابعة العدوية، واعتقل هو ونجله محمد سلطان بعد فض اعتصامي رابعة العدوية والنهضة في 18 أغسطس 2018.
نشأته
نشأ في أسرة فقيرة، لم تكن ظروفه المادية تساعده في اتمام تعليمه. عمل في الزراعة وكان يدرس وتفوق على زملائه فدرس اللغة العربية والعلوم الإسلامية وحصل على ليسانس في اللغة العربية والعلوم الإسلامية سنة 1981 بدرجة ممتاز مع مرتبة الشرف الأولى من كلية دار العلوم جامعة القاهرة في سنة 1987 حصل على شهادة الماجستير في الشريعة الإسلامية بدرجة امتياز. ثم حصل على شهادة الدكتوراه في الشريعة الإسلامية سنة 1992 بتقدير رتبة الشرف الأولى، ثم درس الحقوق وحصل على شهادة الليسانس في الحقوق والقانون بدرجة جيد من كلية الحقوق جامعة القاهرة سنة 1994، ثم أستاذ مشارك في الشريعة الإسلامية سنة 1999 بدرجة ممتاز.

في هذا الكتاب بيان لأهمية القلب المعنوي عند الله والعضوي عند الناس، وضرورة الاهتمام بعلاج قسوة القلب بالتخلية بالتوبة قبل التحلية بالصالحات، مع تذويب للعقبات النفسية والإجتماعية لإصلاح قسوة القلب بالتوبة، وتذكير بقصص مثيرة من تاريخنا الإسلامي، وواقعنا المعاصر، وأن من شرط صحة التوبة التحرك نحو الإصلاح والتغيير.
أما الخطواط العملية للتحلية المتدرجة، فأولاها المشارطة العامة ثم الخاصة لمساعدة المسلم عن علاج الزائدة الغضبية أو الجنسية أو الكلامية أو البطشية، مع وسائل عملية لعلاج المعوقات الفعلية للمشارطة، كما تعرض الكتاب للقواعد العامة والخاصة في مجاهدة النفس من استرسال الهوى في الطعام والكلام والمنام ومخالطة الأنام أملاً في الوصول إلى نفس سوية تسعد في الدنيا والأخرة، وأخيراً تأتي محاسبة النفس ومعاقبتها كوسيلتين ناجعتين لعلاج قسوة القلوب.
