عندما فكرت أن أكتب كلمة أعبر بها وفيها عن مصر التي جعلتها عنوان لكتابي ( مصر.. وكلمات أخرى ) شعرت شعوراً صادقـاً وعميقا عن عدم قدرتي أن أكتب ... كيف لي هذه القدرة الشاملة الواعية للتعبير عن محبتي لهذا الوطن العظيم مصر؟. ووجدتني أخيراً لا أملك حقا هذه القدرة للتعبير عما أريد بكلمات.. ووجدت أيضا في هذا اصدق تعبير عما أريده... فانا حقا غير قادر أن أحيط بعلمي الناقص الضعيف هذا الكيان العظيم.. هذا الوطن المقدس. كيف تستطيع قطرة الماء أن تتحدث - إذا أتيح لها أن تتحدث - عن هذا المحيط الهائل التي هي مجرد جزء صغير .. صغير جدا من هذا الكون المائي الذي يمتد بلا حدود.. أنا قطرة الماء .. وأنا كمصري اعترف بضعفي أن أكتب عن مصر.. وفى هذا الاعتراف أصدق تعبير عن مدى حبي وتعظيمي لهذا الوطن العظيم .. مصر . وهنا اذكر ما يقوله محسن بطل (عصفور من الشرق ) للكاتب المصري "توفيق الحكيم" مبدع ( عودة الروح ) لصديقة "ايفان": يا مسيو ايفان .. اننى لست سعيدا .. ولعلك انت ايضا كذلك . إن سر تعاستنا هو أننا نعيش في هذه الحجرات المغلقة .. إننا نجهل الواقع وطرائقة المباشرة .. لا شئ يكتسب بالخيال في هذه الحياة" وما اصدق هذا المصري العظيم الذي قال في عام 2150 قبل الميلاد: " ألا ليتنى أجد ألفاظا لم يعرفها الناس ، وعبارات وأقوال بلغة جديدة لم ينقض عهدها" وأقول أنا الآن … بهذا الكتاب.. " ألا ليتنى ………………….."
