شخص يتعرض لصدمة في طفولته عند وقوفه أمام قبر شقيقته الوحيدة جعلت منه شخص مضطرب المشاعر ويخاف من عقد ليس لها وجود مما تسبب في فشل علاقاته مع أهله وأصدقائه والمجتمع الذي حوله وحتى تلك الفتاة التي أحبها لم يستطع أن يخبرها بحبه لها وتركته ويحاول جاهداً نسيانها وتجاوز ماضيه معها.
هذه أول رواية لي وربما تكون طريقة السرد مختلفة نوعاً ما والأحداث ليست كثيرة ولكن حاولت التركيز على التعمق والتغلغل في شخصية بطل الرواية ومدى تأثير تلك الصدمة عليه وصعوبة تجاوزها .
