كثيراً ما أحسستُ أن هذا العجوز لا يحبني، خاصة عندما كنت ألتقيه في محل ابنه، أو أراه جالساً قرب باب المحل مع أصحاب له يقاربونه في العمر.. ذات مساء حاولت التقرب إليه فجلست قربه على الرصيف.. قال إن صاحبه الذي يجلس بجانبه يطالع الأبراج ويرى المستقبل، وأضاف مازحاً لصاحبه بأن يطلعني على ما يراه في أيامي القادمة.. سألني صاحبه عن اسمي واسم والدتي، ثم تناول كتاباً أصفر اللون من صدره وفتحه.. بعد أن قرأ ما يقارب الصفحة، قال: "ستحصل على مرادك عاجلاً أو آجلاً، وأن أبواب العمل مفتوحة أمامك في بلاد بعيدة، وستتزوج امرأة تحبها، ثم تتزوج ثانية من امرأة غريبة عن الحي الذي تقيم فيه، واحدة منهن لن تنجب، وواحدة ستملأ البيت بالأولاد".. ثم نظر في وجهي وأضاف: "إحداهن لن تبقى على ذمتك، ولا أعرف أي من الزوجتين سيتم الفراق بينك وبينها".. قلت: "وكأنك تتنبأ لي بطول العمر إذا كانت كل هذه الأحداث ستجري في حياتي".. فقال: "الله أعلم، لكن هذا ما قاله برجك.. وكذب المنجمون ولو صدقوا".. وعلق العجوز قائلاً: "الأيام ستكشف المستقبل، والمستقبل لا يعرفه غير رب العالمين.. الأرزاق والأعمار بيد الله".. وأضاف لي هامساً: "اللي بدّه يدخل البيت يدخله من الباب، مش من الشباك".. شعرتُ وكأنه يقول لي بأنه يعرف قصة حبي لحفيدته منذ البداية.. لكني تجاهلتُ ما سمعت، وتظاهرتُ بعدم الفهم.
