لم يعرض البروفسور أسعد السحمراني في هذا الكتاب آراءه وأفكاره، كعادته في مؤلفاته، وهو الباحث المختصُّ في العقائد والأديان، والناشط في القضية الفلسطينية، بل عمد إلى دراسة ستة كتب لعلماء ومؤرخين يهود، منصفين هم: إسرائيل فنكلشتاين، إيلان بابه، شلوموساند.
واختصر آراءهم وإستنتاجاتهم، التي تدور كلها حول فكرة أن "أرض الميعاد" هي خرافة من إختراع يهود خبثاء، التقت مصالحهم مع مصالح فئات لا تؤمن بأن المسيح بُعث بل تنتظر مجيئه... وأثمر تعاونهم طرد شعب من أرضه بحجج دينية لا تقوم على أسس صحيحة، وما يحصل في الواقع هو عملية إستعمارية إستيطانية، وعدوان بيَّن المعالم، أوقع مظالم، لا الله يرضاها ولا عبيده المنصفين، ما دفع أحد الباحثين المشار إليهم إلى إختيار عنوان لأحد كتبه هو "كيف لم أعد يهودياً؟".
ولهذا يجدر بكل عربي، أو غير عربي، قراءة هذا الكتاب والتمعُّن بما جاء فيه من أفكار بعيدة عن الهوى والعواطف.
