لقد جمعت ألفاظا ظلت منعزلة عن تحريراتنا الأدبية والصحفية لا يستخدمها الكتاب ولا يجرؤ على تداولها الطلاب، مع أن واقعها العربي وحقيقتها الفصحى واستخدام الناس لها في حديثهم ومعاملاتهم ، لا يتفق وهذا الانعزال ولا يسير في خطاه. ومع هذا تحاشيت كل ما في دراجتنا من ألفاظ غير عربية توارثناها بحكم العزو، أو الجوار ( كالألفاظ القبطية ، أو الفارسية ، أو التركية ، أو غيرها من لغات تعاملنا بها على مر الزمان) فلم اجمعها ، وكان حرصى شديدا على جمع اللفظ العامي ذي الأصل العربي، وعدت به إلى مصدره في القرآن الكريم ، أو الحديث الشريف ، او معاجم اللغة لأثبت صحته.
