تنشر فرقة زقاق في هذا الكتاب نصّين مسرحيّين من تأليفها وذلك في إطار مشروع تسعى من خلاله إلى نشر نصوص أعمالها وتوثيق تجربتها المسرحيّة التي بدأت عام 2006.
تعمل فرقة زقاق وفق منهجيّة عمل جماعيّ حيث تقارب مع كلٍّ بحث مسرحيّ مواضيعها بأسلوب جديد يتناسب بأدواته مع مضمون الطرح.
تعتمد الفرقة في معظم أعمالها التأليف الجماعي حيث تساهم المجموعة بأفرادها في كتابة النصّ المسرحيّ وإعداد العمل من خلال تمارين الكتابة الحرّة وتأليف الحوارات والمشاهد والإقتباسات من نصوص أخرى، كما تعتمد التأليف المباشر من خلال الإرتجالات المسرحيّة.
تجمع الفرقة بعد ذلك النصّ بما يوائم بين الرؤية الإخراجيّة وخط السرد والمنحى الدراماتورجي للعرض المسرحيّ، يشارك أعضاء الفرقة مجتمعين في الأبحاث التي تساهم في الإحاطة بمواضيع أعمالها والتي تقرّر عليها الفرقة إنطلاقاً من هموم وإعتبارات أفرادها وأهميّة تناولها على الصعيدين السياسيّ والإجتماعيّ، ملتزمة في منهجيّة عملها تحديد دور المُخرج الواحد للعمل أو الإخراج الثنائيّ لما من شأنه توضيح مسؤوليّة إدارة العمل الجماعي وحسم الخيارات الفنيّة.
