سفر بديع جليل، ومختصر قليل المثيل، قد حوى من الدرر أغلاها، ومن المضامين أجلاها، فجاء متيناً في مبناه، بديعاً في معناه، حرر به مؤلفه معتقد السادة الحنابلة الأبرار، من كل شوب وأكدار.
اختصر الإمام ابن بلبان الحنبلي الدمشقي كتابه من كتاب «نهاية المبتدئين في أصول الدين» لمؤلفه الإمام نجم الدين أحمد بن حمدان الحراني الحنبلي، المتوفى سنة (695هـ) رحمهما الله تعالى.
فلخص فيه العقيدة السُّنِّية الحنبلية، وهذَّبها من الأدلة، وخلَّصها من التشويه والعصبية، وجعلها مفردة على مذهب الإمام العامل الأجل: أحمد بن محمد بن حنبل، رضي الله عنه وأرضاه.
فذاع صيت هذا المختصر؛ حتى غدا معتمد عقائد الحنابلة واشتهر، وحري بهذا الكتيب أن يكون معتمداً ومقرراً لتدريس الطلاب؛ لسهولته ويسر عبارته ووضوح مسائله، وإخلاص مؤلفه.
كشف المؤلف رحمه الله في هذا الكتاب الزيف الذي ينسب للحنابلة: من التشبيه والتجسيم والجهة، وإنما هذا اعتقاد من جهلتهم، وأهل السنة والجماعة متفقون على التنزيه المطلق المحكم سمعاً وعقلاً.
وقد قسم المؤلف رحمه الله كتابه إلى خمسة أبواب، وخاتمة، وتتمة جعلها نصيحة للمسلمين.
وعلق المحقق جزاه الله خيراً على الكتاب، فرفده بنقولات من كتب الحنابلة، فوثق نصه، وقرر قواعده، وأوضح مشكله، وقيد مطلقه، وسمى عمله:
«منحة الرحمن على مختصر عقيدة ابن حمدان»
وها هي دار المنهاج تقدم لقرائها الكرام كتيباً لطيفاً نافعاً، مفيداً مباركاً، تحتاجه الأمة في أوقاتها العصيبة، جعله الله في ميزان الحسنات، إنه سميع مجيب.
