لم نكن نستطيع إبعاد صور الشهداء عن عيوننا، كانت دماؤهم لاتزال على أيدينا، وكنا في صلاة الفجر نراهم أمامنا كلما ركعنا، حتى إذا رفعنا رؤوسنا من الركوع، وقلنا: "سمع الله لمن حمده" رأيناهم يصعدون إلى السماء ليتلقوا الجائزة الكبرى، وعندما نسلم في صلاتنا نجدهم يشدون على أيادينا حتى لا نفرط في دمائهم الطاهرة الزكية، فنخرج من صلاتنا ونحن أكثر إصراراً على عدم مغادرة الميدان حتى نأتي لهم بكامل حقوقهم، حتى نسترد مصر الجميلة الطاهرة من أسرها.
