أما الكتاب فقد اشتمل على مسائل تعد من المضايق التي يتعثر في ساحاتها كل محقق، ويتبلد عند تشعب طرائقها كل مدقق، أوضحها بدربة علمية إيضاحًا ينهدم عنده كل ما بناه بعض المتفقهة على وهم الشك والخيال؛ إذ من المعروف لذوي البصائر أن كثيرًا من المتفقهة يعجل بالحكم في الأمر من غير دليل شرعي واضح أخذًا منه باللازم المفهوم من كلام الفقهاء، ومن المعلوم لذي بصر بعلوم الشريعة الغراء أن لا مفهوم ولا مقتضى إلا لكلام المعصوم- صلى الله عليه وسلم.
وما قاله البعض في مسألة خمار المسلمة وحملوه قسرًا على "النقاب" إيجابًا أقوال ساقطة لا ينبغي التعويل عليها أو مثلها في إثبات الأحكام الشرعية، وهي أقوال ليس عليها أثارة من علم معتبر بل هي خارجة عن باب الرواية المقبولة، والدراية المعقولة؛ وفي الجملة خطأ صريح وجهل قبيح نسب إلى الشرع ما ليس منه!
وأتت هذه الرسالة القيمة لتزيل غشاوة وتمحو ضلالة، وترشد إلى توضيح المجملات، وترجيح المحتملات، وتقرير الواضحات، بجمع فريد ونظم سديد.
