شاعر مصري تميز شعره بالبساطه والعفويه ولمس المشاعر ومناقشة القضايا فى واقعنا وقدمت بعض اعماله غنائياً مع الفنان محمد منير ووجيه عزيز وأصدر ديوانه الأول بعنوان" ناقص حتّه" ولد وتربى فى حى السيدة زينب بمصر 1960 درس الهندسة لكنة كان يتردد على قصر ثقافة الغورى مما ساعد على تكوين موهبتة الشعرية هو لا يدعى أنة من شعراء المعلقات أو أنه من اعظم شعراء هذا العصر , لكنة يدعى انة مواطن شاعر شاعر بالابيات شاعر بأحاسيس المواطن.
احيانا يظهر الاكتئاب والحزن واحيانا يظهر التفاؤل والامل ابتسامة دهشة إعجاب تساؤل كلها ردود أفعال قد تراودك عندما تقرأ قصيدة واحدة لعلى سلامة.

إذاً في الغد سيصدر حكم المحكمة بالإعدام على وردة سوداء تفوح غياباً فتصعد لكرسي معلقٍ فوقه حبل أمل يضعه في رقبتها قزم صعد فوق النقود حتى وصل لذلك المكان المرتفع، وشقيقها من سيدفع الكرسي بقوة من تحت قدميها، وتُزف عروس بنعش أبيض غالي الثمن وستبكيها أمها وتقبل تعازي المباركين بالمنزل ثم تتجه لقصر ضخم ستدفن داخل جدرانه قبراً جميلاً ليس مخالفاً أو عشوائياً، ستبحث في غرفة نومها عن مكان مناسب لوضع رصاصة حمزة التي ستخفف عنها عذاب القبر، فالرصاصة هي الشيء الوحيد الملموس الذي يربطها بحمزة.
