وقائع الرواية دارت في 24/11/2013 عندما استغل حارس أمن بشركة سبيد سيرفز لنقل الأموال بأن أمد المتهمين بتوقيتات ومواعيد وصول السيارة رقم "ح ي ن 173" والقائمة على نقل حقائب الأموال محل الواقعة –فوقعت الجريمة بناءً على ذلك التحريض وتلك المساهمة.
المتهمون من الثاني حتى السابع عشر سرقوا المنقولات المبينة وصفاً والمقدرة بمبلغ سبعة عشر مليون جنيه والمملوكة لشركة سبيد سيرفز وذلك بأن أعدوا العدة في سبيل تنفيذ مخططهم الإجرامي.. فجهزوا السيارة رقم 8812 رحلات إسكندرية وتوجهوا للعقار رقم 69 بمدينة فيصل سيدي بشر قبلي قسم المنتزة بالإسكندرية والكائن به مقر الشركة وسيارة سرفيس تحمل لوحات معدنية مزورة وسيارة ملاكي تحمل لوحات معدنية تمت سرقتها وأشهروا ما بحوزتهم من أسلحة نارية وبيضاء وأطلقوا الأعيرة النارية في الهواء لترويع الأمن ولعدم تدخل الأهالي فأصابوا من أصابوا واستولوا على الأموال وفروا بها هاربين بعدما بثوا الرعب في نفس العاملين بالشركة ولاذوا بالفرار..
ولما كانت الجريمة طريقها نهايته مسدودة فقد احتوتهم حجرات الحجز بقسم شرطة أول المنتزة بالإسكندرية- تمهيدًا لمحاكمتهم مطلع الشهر المقبل (أغسطس)، بعد أن استوقف المستشار رئيس المحكمة الدفاع لسماع قرار المحكمة بنظر الجناية واستدعاء "الضابط وشهود الإثبات" لمناقشتهم بناء على طلب المحامين.
الجدير بالذكر أن الرواية تعكس إتقان مؤلفها للفن الروائي حبكةً وصوراً ووصفاً وحواراً، فهو ينقلنا في تسلسل منطقي تترائى فيه الصنعة والتماسك الفني.
شخوص الرواية منتقاة من مجتمعنا المعاصر بكل تناقضاته… يضع المؤلف كلاً منهم في إطاره الصحيح، ساخراً في مواضع السخرية، جاداً في أماكن الجد، في حوارٍ يعجّ بالواقعية.
