لا يستطيع أحد أن ينكر فضل مادة الرياضيات على سائر العلوم الأخرى، فهي تكاد تكون قاسمًا مشتركًا بينها وعاملًا مؤثرًا فيها جميعًا؛ وذلك لأن كل علم من العلوم يعتمد على معادلات وقوانين واستنتاجات وضعها علماء وباحثو مادة الرياضيات!
ومن ثم فإن التقدم في علم الرياضيات يؤدي- بالتأكيد- إلى التقدم في باقي العلوم. وبناء على ذلك فإنه ينبغي أن يكون الاهتمام بهذه المادة على نفس أهميتها وتأثيرها.
وقد حاولت أن أقدم خدمة مميزة في هذا المجال لأبناء وطني الحبيب لأرد جزءًا- ولو ضئيلًا- من الجميل الذي يطوق عنقي تجاهه؛ فعملت- قدر جهدي- أن أجعل من مادة الرياضيات شيئًا محببًا إلى النفس، خفيفًا على القلب، لأساعد أبنائي الدارسين في فهم مضمون ومحتوى المادة.

ولقد استخدمت في عملي هذا عشرات المراجع، وكذلك المئات من أصول امتحانات المعاهد والجامعات في مصر والعالم العربي للاستفادة بها، وتقديم جميع الأفكار التي وردت فيها، بالإضافة لبنات أفكاري المستقاة من واقع خبرتي ورؤيتي الحاضرة والمستقبلية لعلم الرياضيات.
