تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى رصد النتاج الشعرى الليبى الذى إتخذ من فلسطين مضموناً قومياً وإسلامياً وإنسانياً مبرزة خصائصه وقسماته الفارقة, وموقف الشعراء من القضية الفلسطينية.
وقد وقع إختيارى على موضوع (فلسطين فى الشعر الليبى من 1947 إلى 1987) بعد أن لاحظت مبلغ الإهتمام الذى أولاه هؤلاء الشعراء لفلسطين من جوانب عده. وخاصة بجانبين مهمين هما, الصراع مع العدو والتطلع إلى تحرير الأرض والمقدسات, وهذان الجانبان هما جوهر القضية, يرتبطان ببعضهما أشد الإرتباط, فالتحرير لا يتحقق إلا بإدراك طبيعة الصراع مع العدو الصهيونى الغاضب.
ووفقاً لهذا المضمون فقد قسمت البحث إلى مقدمة وخمسة فصول يتناول الفصل الأول الظروف السياسية والإجتماعية والثقافية التى نشأت فيها قصيدة فلسطين وإنعكاس الكارثة على الوجدان الجمعى فى المجتمع العربى الليبى.
ويعرض الفصل الثانى الطابع القومى فى قصيدة فلسطين وموقف الشعراء من الصراع و التحرير.
ويهتم الفصل الثالث بالطابع الإسلامى للقصيدة ونظرة الشعراء للصراع والتحرير. كما يختص الفصل الرابع بالطابع الإنسانى مع عرض لجوانب هذا الطابع عند الشعراء الليبيين.
ويبرز الفصل الخامس الجوانب الفنية فى قصيدة فلسطين, فيعرض للإيقاع واللغة والأساليب والصور الشعرية.
وتقدم الخاتمة أهم النتائج التى توصل إليها الباحث فى رسالته.
