إنطلاقاً من حرص كثير من المربين على إصلاح الذى يعتبر مسئولية جماعية يشارك فيها كل فرد من أفراد المجتمع - ارتفعت صيحات هنا، وتحذيرات هناك، الكل يلقى الأضواء على مشكلات الأجيال أولادنا وفلذات أكبادنا.. عدة المستقبل وعتاده. بينما تعيش براعمنا فى ظروف مناخية حجبت سحبها الاستقرار النفسى النابع من حوض الإنسجام بين الأسرة والمدرسة والمجتمع وأرسلت الظروف المناخية غير الصحية.. دوامة الانفصام بين الأسرة والمدرسة والمجتمع مما أوجد صراعاً بين المؤثرات النظرية الإسلامية وبين المؤثرات التطبيقية المادية. تعيش براعمنا فى ظل تلك الظروف المناخية التى يتجاذب أطرافها كلاً من الفضيلة والانحراف.. وليست الإزدواجية التى تعانى منها الأجيال المعاصرة من الأطفال ببعيدة عن التردد الذى يعانى منه المربون.. فمنهم من يرى ضرورة المسايرة لروح العصر والتمشى مع ركب الحضارة فى جميع أمور التربية ومنهم من يرى وجوب التمسك بالنبع الفياض القرآن الكريم والسنة المطهرة والإلتزام بنهج القرون المفضلة فى التربية والتعليم مع نبذ كل جديد محدث. وهذا الكتاب محاولة لحصر بعض أخطاء المربين القائمين على تربية أطفال المسلمين سواء كانوا آباء أو أمهات أو معلمين أو معلمات أو هيئات وقد بينت ما يترتب على تلك الأخطاء التربوية من أثار سلبية تنعكس على سلوك الطفل وتؤثر فى ميوله واتجاهاته وتبنى عليها شخصيته. وهى نقطة البداية فى الإصلاح والتغيير فإذا أردنا أن نغير ما فسد من أوضاعنا وأحوالنا فليبدأ كل منا بمن يعول وليبدأ كل منا بمن استرعاه الله تبارك وتعالى عليهم وليحتسب الأجر والثواب عن الله ولا يسعجل الثمرة..
