عهد إلينا الأستاذ الدكتور زهير عبد الرزاق محيى الدين نجل الأستاذ الراحل بالإشراف علي نشر ما عثر عليه من قصائد والده العلامة الجليل الاستاذ الدكتور عبد الرازق محيى الدين، فسررنا لذلك أيما سرور، وطفقنا نتأمل (دفتراً) نسخه أحد آل محي الدين، كان خطه واضحاً مقروءاً، ولكن فيه أخطاء في الرسم، وخللاً فى العروض، وترتيباً للقصائد علي غير سوية تاريخية، فأعدنا قراءة (الدفتر) وأصلحنا ما وجدنا ضرورة إصلاحه والتنبيه عليه وأعدنا ترتيب القصائد علي وفق تواريخ نظمها وإيضاح مناسبتها علي ما أسعفت به ذاكرة الزميل الكريم العلامة الشاعر الدكتور محمد حسين علي الصغير فهو شاهد عيان.
وقد ضم (الدفتر) فضلاً عن القصائد مقدمة نفيسة كتبها الدكتور (عبد الرزاق محيى الدين) لتتصدر ديوانه سجل فيها مفهومه النقدي للشعر ودوره في حركة التاريخ، مما يزود الباحثين والدارسين بصورة أكثر انسجاماً بين النظر والتطبيق.
