هذا الكتاب هو جزء نادر لأحد أعلام حنابلة "حَرَّان" في القرن السادس الهجري، موضوعها ذمّ الغناء ودحض ما عليه جهلةُ الصّوفيّة من الرّقص في مجالس الذِّكْر، وممارسة الغناء والضّرب على آلة القضيب لإظهار الألحان وترطيب القلوب، ومصاحبة المُرْدان إستجلاء لعظمة الخالق كما يزعمون، اسمه: "المعيار في الرّدّ على المتمسّكين بغير الأخبار"، إشارةً من المؤلّف إلى أعراض المتلبّسين بتلك الرّزايا عن نصوص قرآنيّة وأخبار نبويّة تحذّر كلّها من الوقوع في بليّة الغناء.
