إن كثيراً من عناصر الأمّة الإسلاميّة - أمّة القرآن الكريم - يتمنّون حفظ كتاب ربّهم، ويتأسّفون الأسف الشديد من عدم تحقيق ذلك في فترة طفولتهم، والتي تكون فيها الذاكرة تربة طيّبة، تُخرج نباتها الطيّب بإذن ربّها، وتستوعب ما لا يستطيع الكبار إستيعابه، فالعلم في الصغر كالنقش على الحجر.
وقد تعدّدت الطروحات والطرق التي أوردها كثير من العلماء التربويّين حول مشروع حفظ كتاب الله عزّ وجلّ، حيث ألّف حول هذا الموضوع كتب كثيرة تبيّن طرقاً للسير في تحقيق مثل هذا الهدف.
فلا يخفى على أحد أهميّة هذا الهدف، الذي يعتبر أغلى وأعلى وأفضل هدف يحقّقه المؤمن في حياته.
ومن أجل بلوغ هذا الهدف، حاول المؤلف في هذا العمل أن يرشد القارئ إلى بعض الطرق الحديثة التي تعمل بها الذاكرة، والتي توصّل إليها الباحثون والخبراء بعد سنوات متواصلة من البحث، وقد اعتمد في هذا الكتاب على بعض المراجع التي ألّفها بعض المهتّمين بهذا الموضوع مثل: المحاور الخمسة للقرآن الكريم، كيف نتعامل مع القرآن الكريم، العودة إلى القرآن الكريم، كيف تحفظ القرآن الكريم، كيف تحفّظ أبناءنا القرآن الكريم، كيف نحيا بالقرآن الكريم، ورتّل القرآن الكريم ترتيلاً، أسرار الذاكرة في حفظ القرآن الكريم.
كما اعتمدت بعض المراجع التي ألّفها بعض الخبراء في عمل الذاكرة، وبناء الذكاء، مثل: الوصفة الطبيّة للذاكرة، العقل أوّلاً، العقل القويّ، الذكاء الروحي، الذكاء الإجتماعي، كتاب تدريبات الذاكرة، كيف يعمل العقل وغيرها الكثير.
