إن أفضل ما يقوله المؤمن في زمن تحيط به النوائب والفتن والمصائب والمحن والاجن وتجتمع عليه الرزايا ، وتجتاله ايدي الأذى من جميع الخبايا ، إنما هو ذكر الله وكلامه جلّ جلاله . فإن العبد محتاج إلى ربه مفتقر إليه في جميع أموره ، لا يكاد ينفك عنه طرفة عين ، فهو مأمور بالرجوع إليه ، والتعويل عليه ، لا سيما في مثل هذه الأوقات التي تمر بها بلاد المسلمين ، حيث أحاط بها السوء من كل حدبٍ وصوب ، وتوجه إليها الشر من كل مكان ، فاستوجب العمل لدفع ذلك مما هنالك . فالدعاء سرّ الله المضمر في عباده . فهو لهم كالسلاح وإنما هو بضاربه ، لا بحدّه فقط ، فمتى كان الدعاء متيناً لا آفة به ، والداعي ساعده قوياً لا ضعف فيه ، حصلت به النكاية في المقصود ، وتجلى الوعد من الله المعبود . لذا فإن الكتاب نافع يأخذه القارىء ويقرأه في مهمات أموره ، وإنما ما يقرأه من أدعية إنما جاءت من كتاب الله وسنة رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم ، أو قول لأحد الصالحين مما أفاضه عليه مولاهم ربهم ، واختصهم بها . وعليه فإن العيون ستسر بقراءته ، وتهدأ النفوس ، وتستريح من عناء الخطوب وكيف لا وقد اتجهت بالدعاء إلى من لا تضيع عنده الودائع ، ولا يرد الواقف على باب ، والمنتظر عند أعتابه . والكتاب إنما جاء نتيجة فكرة ، وابتغاء مثوبة ، وقد جعل المؤلف هذا الكتاب من مجموعتين ، أولاهما جاءت تحت إسم : " حصن الحماية لمن أراد الوقاية " ، والمجموعة الثانية تحت إسم : " الشهاب الثاقب لدرس النوائب " . وهذا غيض من فيض ما جاء فيهما : " المحامد الثانية ، حصن الله الحصين ، آيات الحرس والحرز ، حصن عن المس وأذى الجن والأنس ، دعاء الحراسة للسيد أحمد الرفاعي الكبير .. ، ومن منائح الله تعالى للسيد الرواس ، حزب الإشراق ، المسبعات العشر ، فائدة عظيمة لمن كان في كرب شديد ، ذكر ألإمام النووي رضي الله عنه ما نصه : الآيات المنجيات ، فائدة آية الكرسي وثلاث آيات من سور غافر ، ، دعاء قوم يونس وقد كاد العذاب ينزل عليهم ، من مسامرات الشيخ الأكبر ، قصيدة العارف الكبير الشيخ قاسم الحلاق ، مناجاة شريفة للسيد أحمد الرفاعي ، الآيات المشتملة على سر القاف ...... دعاء للنصر على الأعداء .. لكل شيء في الحضر والسفر ، أدعية اسمه تعالى لطيف الثمانيه ، حزب اللطف ، دعاء الفرج لسيدنا الخضر عليه السلام ، الإستغفار الكبير ، من استغفار الإمام الحسن البصري .. من أدعية الفرج لإزالة الضيق والهم والحرج .. دعاء يس للحبيب عبد الله الحداد ، دعاء الفاتحة للإمام الهام سيدي القطب النون عبد القادر الجيلاني ، فصل كيفية الوصول لرؤية سيدنا الرسول ... دواعي النصر في التوسل بسادتنا أهل بدر رضي الله عنهم ... الخصال المكفرة للذنوب للعلامة السيد محمد عبد الله الكتاني ، صلاة التسبيح ، قصيدة يا عميم اللطف للسيد الروّاس .
