أعددت مائدة بعناية، ووضعت زهرة الشاطئ في المنتصف، كما هو معتاد، أو بجوار أدوات مائدتها، لم تلتفت، أخذت أدوات مائدتها ووضعتها أمامها، بينها وبين رغوة الأمواج، ضاعت سعادتي، وحطمت تجربة السمع مجاديفي، وأغضبني البحر، فيما مضى كان لدي لغتي، شال ليلكي اللون، لكنه ضاع، أخشى أن نتلف صحتنا هنا، إذا فقدت لعتي صوتها، سوف يصبح لديها سبب يجعلها تترك الحديث معي، إنني مازلت أثقل عاتقها بأسئلة وعروض، همساً وجهراً، الشال الليلكي يناسبها تماماً، يغطي رقبتها زائدة الطول ويعطي ظهورها الخفي حلماً وحزماً في آن واحد… أنا ولغتي.
