تحتل التجارة غير الرسمية أهمية كبيرة لا تقل عن أهمية التجارة الرسمية في الكثير من دول العالم السائرة في طريق النمو، تتراوح بين الــ 20 و الــ 75% من إجمالي الدخل فيها مما يجعلها المصدر الأساسي للشغل في هذه الدول.
ومهما ظهر لنا من خلال النصوص القانونية بأن التجارة المسجلة شرعية وخاضعة للضبط والقانون، إلا أن التقنيات الممارسة في الكثير منها تبقى وبكل بساطة "غير رسمية".
والجزائر لا تختلف كثيراً عن هذه الدول ولا يقل فيها الإقتصاد غير الرسمي أهمية عن الإقتصاد الرسمي، فهو يمثل نسباً عالية منه تتراوح بين الــ 30 و الــ 70% من إجمالي الإقتصاد الوطني، وبالتالي من الضروري أن نسقط أضواء التحليل على هذا القطاع بطريقة تجعلنا نقصي النظرة التقليدية ونتعمق في البحث بما يسمح لنا الكشف على أهم الإستراتيجيات التي تغذي هذا القطاع وتنعشه، وتجعله يناقش القطاع الرسمي، بل ويتفوق عليه.
وعندما نقول تجارة الجزائريات غير الرسمية العابرة للحدود في دولة الغمارات هذه العبارة قد يستغرب منها الكثيرون كون أن عدد الجزائريين المقيمين في دولة الإمارات قليل جداً والمسافة الجغرافية متباعدة بين البلدين، إلا أن هاذين العاملين لا يعتبروا أن مؤشران حقيقيان عن الواقع، بل الواقع أن الأعداد القليلة للجزائريين الذين يقصدون دولة الإمارات للسياحة هم فاعلين إجتماعين نشطين شكلوا ظاهرة إجتماعية لها صدى عميق على المستويات الإقتصادية والسياسية والإجتماعية والثقافية للجزائر.
وعلى هذا الأساس قامت المؤلفة بهذه الدراسة، وتضمن أربعة فصول الأول: جاء لعرض إشكالية وفرضيات البحث، ومنهجية ومجتمع البحث ومجالة في هذه الدراسة، أما الفصل الثاني: فقد تمحور حول عرض وتوضيح كيف كانت مكانة المرأة في ظل النظام الأبوي الجزائري، بينما جاء الفصل الثالث لغرض فهم وتمحيص وضع العمل النسوي في الجزائر منذ الإستقلال، ثم الفصل الرابع والأخير، والذي تضمن عرض مسار النساء الجزائريات الممارسات للتجارة غير الرسمية العابرة للحدود بين دولة الجزائر ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة كونه شكل جديد من أشكال الحراك التجاري في الآونة الأخيرة، والذي أصبح اليوم ظاهرة ملحوظة في الساحة الإقتصادية الجزائرية.
